Antiparos Tour
Our excursion will start from the port of Punta from where we will reach Antiparos by ferry boat. Afterwards, we will head to the south side of Antiparos and more particularly to Aghios Georgios where we will cross the island of Despotiko by boat. There we will see a unique intact archaic sanctuary that has been in operation since the 7th century BC. Excavations and restoration of the sanctuary continue to this day.Afterwards , we will visit the Antiparos Cave which is the only vertical cave in Europe with a depth of about 85 meters. It is a natural miracle where one can find Europe’s oldest stalactite, estimated to be 45 million years old. Then, we will walk to the central paved alley, where there are all kinds of shops. Finally, we will eat out at a traditional tavern where we will enjoy local appetizers.
