Organic Farm Tour Experience We welcome our guests and start our tour at the entrance of our traditional, organic farm that overlooks the beautiful bay of Naousa. We wind our way through the farm for about 30 minutes where we present the mediterranean crops that we grow that include grapes, olives, capers, oregano, pomegranates and figs. We discuss the sustainable cultivation techniques we use, how they impact the quality of our products, and the kinds of products we make from our crops. As well as seeing the crops that we grow, guests get to see our free-range chickens and goats that we have on our farm. After the tour we have the tasting on our balcony that offers stunning views of the sea and the picturesque village of Naousa. This lasts about 1.5 hours. The meal in this option does not include the tasting platter, but almost all tasting platter ingredients are used in this curated meal. Cooking Lesson Group After we get an aperitif, we will create a 6-course menu, including an appetizer, salad, a vegetarian main course, a seafood main course, a meat main course and a dessert. Of course we can change the menu if a participant has a food allergy or dislike (e.g. vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free). Afterwards, we will all sit down together and enjoy the fruits of our labors, accompanied by wine and ouzo. At the end I will give you all the recipes from my grandmother. Paros Highlights Tour Boarding from the hotel and we start from: Parikia: a walk in the Old Agora passing by the Frankish Castle and the Holy Temple of Panagia Ekatontapyliani. We are heading to: Naousa: We took a walk in its picturesque alleys passing by the Venetian Castle, then we go: Lefkes: the picturesque mountain village of Paros with a wonderful view, walk in the alleys of Lefka, then: Piso Livadi and Alyki for their picturesque harbors with fishing boats and Traditional Taverns and Finally: Agioi Anargyroi at Sunset for Photo Shooting Overlooking the bay of Parikia. Tasting Tour Our excursion begins with a walk in the picturesque alleys of Parikia, through the old market and the castle of the Franks located on the hill of Aghios Konstantinos. We will take a short break to taste traditional Greek coffee and then start our trip to Naoussa , we will visit a family winery Moraitis , where you will taste three local wines and go on a tour of the state-of-the-art production facilities. Next, we will visit Alyki, located in the southern part of Paros, so as to try traditional appetizers and fresh fish dishes such as sun-dried mackerel. We will take a short break to taste traditional Greek coffee and then start our trip to Naoussa. In Naoussa we will go for a walk in its picturesque alleys and there you can enjoy traditional Greek doughnuts. Afterwards, we will visit the most mountainous village of Paros, Lefkes, which was initially the capital of the island. Later, we will go to the Golden Coast beach known for its blue waters and the endless sandy beach for swimming. Next, we will visit Alyki, located in the southern part of Paros, so as to try traditional appetizers and fresh fish dishes such as sun-dried mackerel. Finally, we will reach the monastery of Aghioi Anargyroiat an altitude of 250 meters, overlooking the bay of Parikia and the Aegean Sea. Antiparos Tour Our excursion will start from the port of Punta from where we will reach Antiparos by ferry boat. Afterwards, we will head to the south side of Antiparos and more particularly to Aghios Georgios where we will cross the island of Despotiko by boat. There we will see a unique intact archaic sanctuary that has been in operation since the 7th century BC. Excavations and restoration of the sanctuary continue to this day.Afterwards , we will visit the Antiparos Cave which is the only vertical cave in Europe with a depth of about 85 meters. It is a natural miracle where one can find Europe's oldest stalactite, estimated to be 45 million years old. Then, we will walk to the central paved alley, where there are all kinds of shops. Finally, we will eat out at a traditional tavern where we will enjoy local appetizers.
